Comedy genius!
Every Christmas for as long as I can remember I have sat down and watched the Morecambe & Wise show. This year the BBC were generous enough to give us two Christmas shows and an evening dedicated to the comedy duo including a documentary of their early life. Firstly, may I congratulate the BBC for the brilliant documentary which was funny and heart warming. The acting was brilliant and it really gave you an incite into their early life. Bravo!
However, what I really wanted to talk about was the men themselves, Eric Morecambe & Ernie Wise. I was never around when the shows first went out yet I love them, but why, how is this possible, surely their comedy should be out dated? but it’s not it remains as fresh and funny as it did when it first came out. I’m certain some people just won’t understand what the fuss is all about but I just can’t understand how you couldn’t laugh at the pair of them.
