		<description>Hi Paul,

It was with great pleasure that I stumbled upon the JPS band website. I found it impossible to mail you via the site, but with a bit of detective work, found you here!

I was the
drummer with the school band from around 1969 to 1974, and owe a great debt to John Atkinson. His encouragement had a great effect on me becoming a professional musician, and I have made my living as one for the past 30 years.

I now live in Spain, where I have a small studio, and perform around the world as a bass player and singer with CHRISTIE and BC SWEET.

My career has come full circle as I am currently working on a CD celebrating Derby County Football Club. (which is why I&#039;ve posted on this entry!) If you check out my blog, you&#039;ll see a lot of the Derby project songs and videos on there.

It has long been a wish to get in touch once again with Mr. Atkinson, and I was wondering if you have any contact with him. I have many happy memories of concerts with the band.
